“I’ve just discovered Chris Browne’s new blog. It’s crammed with good stuff—stories of his life, terrific paintings of commonplace objects and new cartoons. It shows other sides of Chris than his Hagar the Horrible work.”—senior editor, Sarasota Magazine, Robert Plunket.

Here Be Dragons
From a work in progress! I have been house hunting in South Dakota so I have been away from my desk and blog- sorry! But today I checked my Google Blogalytics and it says that LOTS of people are reading my blog in Austria and Germany! I love that, but I don't know why it's happening! It doesn't tell me who you all are- but thank you for reading my blog! Gutten tag! Chris

I am big fan of your dragons. I think
they deserve a book too!
How did the house hunting go Chris?
Really very good, Colleen! We may have for the house- just have to make the magic happen now. If it all becomes real I'll post pictures here or send them to you. Fingers crossed! Sioux Falls is a lovely town and I think good days lay ahead.
All my best, Chris
Should I be sending you a shovel for your first South Dakota winter? http://www.crh.noaa.gov/fsd/?n=fsdtrivia02
I have named your dragon, I call him Daring Dragon. He is now my desktop image until you make a new drawing that I like even better.
Hi, Colleen!
Gasp! I'd never seen those South Dakota weather stats! Ouch! Don't send the shovel yet- but the warm comments about Darin Dragon are helping keep the chill out! Thanks SO much!

Hey Chris,
Great blog! Nice to see some of your personal work. I've always enjoyed your stuff. Your Playboy cartoon with the rabbit and turtle was great. Was it approved? Made me think of your Cruiser days in PB...
Good luck with the move.

Chris! Great drawing and design! I love the way the dragon is curled under the bridge. Of course, here in Florida that would be our version of the dragon: The alligator. Though gators don't curl well! :)
Well, I think the reason why so many people in Germany are reading your blog is that Hägar is one of the most popular comic-heros here, and so they are interested in you and everything you do. Somebody who creates new fantastic viking-comic-strips every day MUST be an interesting person. And you are.

South Dakota? Are you nuts?
Make sure you bring your snuggly clothes!
Sorry. I just discovered your blog, and am enamored...
Hope all is well with you, and I will try to leave you alone. Stalkers are not all that cool, huh?
I just couldn't resist doing this...

Where can I find your e-mail? I don't want to have to ask "Him That Is".
ohhhh I like this drawing, All curled up under the bridge....he looks a bit frightened, maybe people walking over the bridge is loud and annoying for a dragon.
