Gravity

ahhh yes, gravity. There are times I have felt it's affects stronger than others. People might think that's impossible but just look at that little fellow. You can't tell me he isn't feeling gravity's heavy pull right now more than if he was sitting cozily beneath that tree! For me I always feel gravity at it's strongest when I'm about to walk down a flight of stairs, so far I have defeated gravity every time and made it safely though haha.
Very cool drawing!

Thank you, mysterious Tace! Is Tace short for something? Or is it an acronym? I love acronyms! My favorites are U.n.c.l.e., D.h.a.r.m.a. and D.a.r.p.a.

This drawing is from a rough children's book about a little boy who suddenly can fly (but not very well), a metaphor for how our increasing freedoms as we grow up tend to become encumbrances (the ability to drive leads to driving, the ability to date leads to dating, the ability to stay out late leads to staying out late). Also it was just fun to draw!

hi chris, on your sketchbook-blog, my computer always breaks down, so I write here...

sorry to hear you had a bad day, but I like your Toulouse-Lautrec-drawing!

Best wishes!

Tace isn't short for anything though one day I googled it and found out it's Latin for silence, or be silent, which is really funny cause I'm anything but...
Still love this drawing, I'm pretty sure the little guy is holding the tree tighter than he was last time I looked, hahaha
